The ChiRunning® Instructor Certification System has been brought to perfection after continuously enhanced over the past two decades, ensuring the integrity of each instructor and becoming a dual affirmation of running skills and training proficiency.

ChiRunning® Instructor Tier:
Quasi Instructor ➠ Certified Instructor ➠ Senior Certified Instructor ➠ Master Instructor
Our quasi-instructors have been trained for at least 14 weeks and completed the four-day intensive ChiRunning Instructor Training Camp. They must accumulate teaching experience by serving as assistant coaches of ChiRunning workshops, as well as complete the internship hours within the deadline before they are officially certified and get promoted to ChiRunning® Certified Instructor.
Our certified instructors have passed rigorous training and assessments, proven that their running skills and teaching proficiency are up to professional standard. They are capable to take the responsibility of helping others to avoid injury and run effortlessly, in order to ensuring a good learning experience of every student.
Senior certified instructors have rich teaching experience and are qualified to teach ChiRunning advanced courses. The requirement for promotion to a senior instructor is very strict: at least two years of ChiRunning teaching experience and accumulation of at least 200 teaching hours within 24 consecutive months, also required to pass a running gait review by certifying Master Instructor to ensure their mastery of ChiRunning techniques.
Personally appointed by the founder Danny Dreyer, agrees that his/her running technique and teaching proficiency are both at master level, having a thorough understanding of ChiRunning principles, as well as deeply embraces Danny’s vision of creating ChiRunning – to let people achieving an enhanced and healthy lifestyle through efficient and injury-free running. Only a few of our instructors have won this honor throughout these years.
