Being Dental Surgeon since 35 years there is constant sitting changing positions in clinic
Slowly i gained weight even though i was exercising swimming walking regularly
I became 88 kg at age 47
One day i started running regularly at age 48 slow walk jog to reduce weight but I used to injure a lot and was not able to maintain daily running practise
I used to injure a lot due to improper unscientific running and stopping running to recover and again used to gain weight
Answer to all injuries I found when I attended instructor training program in Hongkong 2016 with Danny Dreyer and I became Indias first Chirunning instructor in May 2016
Mainly we injure because of improper technique and overdoing
After that my injuries stopped and from 3 hrs Half marathon I managed to do 1.56 hrs hm in a year regular chirunning practise
and maintained my weight from 88 to 65 in 2 years of regular Chirunnung practise
presented articles in Indian dental association journal on Chirunning a lifestyle for fitness
I have taken more than 50 workshops in India and as well as in abroad trained more that 500 runners Done more than 40 half marathons and 5 FMs Two ultra 12 hr Run
Taken workshops in Indonesia assisted Danny in India and abroad as well
Taken workshops in germany Dubai and in india too at mumbai pune aurangabad Raipur Durg Karad Islampur
Arranged Chirunnung instructor training in Mumbai in 2018 for 20 participants with Danny Dreyer
Became Certifying Senior instructor in Nov 2018
2 Gold Medals in Half Marathon in Agegroup
5th rank in Beckescaba Hungray Marathon
Danny and Katherine came in my life as a running Guru and with their trainings I realised Chirunning is not only sports but its a lifestyle you need to adapt
Listen to your body is priority
for your physical mental spiritual and emotional health by incorporating in your daily movements even when you are sitting or standing and take it slowly and gradually is key to success of Chirunning
